The core ACT includes English, Math, and Reading. English has 50 questions in 35 minutes, Math has 45 questions in 50 minutes, and Reading has 36 questions in 40 minutes. The core testing time is 2 hours and 5 minutes, excluding breaks. Science and Writing are additional sections and do not affect the Composite score.
