Questions Parents Ask

Quick answers to everything families usually want to know before registering.

Still unsure? We answer during business hours. (929) 356-6865
Is it bad to study for the SAT right before?

Generally, yes. You should not learn new topics the day before the exam. That's why this crash course has been specially designed to focus on practice problems that are most likely to appear and key problems and concepts that they simply have to know. The topics being taught are core to the exam, so it shouldn't be "brand new" information, but rather a comprehensive review, which is vital before test day.

Is this really free?

Yes, fully free. At the end, we'll invite you to an optional, no-pressure Strategy Call if you want help turning your teen's score into a full plan.

Is this online or in person?

100% online via Zoom. Register and your teen joins live from home.

Is this for parents or for students?

It's a working training session for students: your teen should be the one live on Zoom. Parents are welcome to register on their behalf.

What if my teen hasn't done much prep so far?

That's exactly who this is for. We teach test-day strategy and decision rules, not cramming, so even teens starting from zero leave with a clear plan.

Will I get the recording if I can't attend live?

Yes. Every registrant gets the replay, the Night-Before Checklist, and the Score-To-College Map by email.

Who can attend?

Any family preparing for the SAT. Already enrolled with us? Your instructor will also reach out with a personal invite: no need to wait for it.

What does my teen need to bring?

A laptop or tablet with Zoom, paper, and a pen. Everything else comes from us.

Will three hours actually change anything?

It won't replace months of prep. It removes the unknowns: your teen walks in knowing the structure, the likeliest questions, and the decision rules for every section.
